As someone who has spent extensive time behind the wheel of various trucks, the R450 stands out for a few reasons. The cabin noise levels are impressively low even in the absence of double-glazed windows. Lighting, both interior and exterior, is well-designed and functional, adding a layer of safety in challenging conditions. The average fuel efficiency around 23 liters is commendable given its load capacity.

Got some time in the R450 recently. The gearbox impresses with smooth shifts, and the braking systems inspire confidence. While the all-air ride suspension cushions most bumps, certain sharp road flaws can still make their presence felt. The cab design combines durability with a comfortable, quiet environment, featuring plenty of storage and tech for the driver. It’s a dependable truck for a variety of hauls.

I recently had the chance to drive the Scania R450. It's a pretty solid unit overall. The new engine feels strong and manages fuel well-ran about 26.6 liters on a trip with a full load. Handling is straightforward without surprises, which is essential. However, the cabin seating left a bit to be desired for longer drives. Still, it offers decent comfort and visibility. Retarder and brakes work like a charm. Overall, it's reliable. Not perfect but functions admirably.

So, I drove the Scania R450 during a route last week, and here’s my take. The dual fuel tanks offer great range, perfect for longer hauls. Interior is spacious, and the orthopaedic mattress was comfortable for my overnight rest. Retarder-assisted braking is a feature I’ve appreciated, especially on descents. While the climate control is functional, I found the buttons a bit fiddly at times. The cabin sound insulation is decent, though not completely isolating on noisy highways.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share some thoughts about the Scania R450. I really appreciate the ease of access provided by the wide steps and ample cabin space; standing upright inside with extra room always feels great. The cooling system is spacious and built for functionality, a solid plus on long trips. Retarder performance is impressive, especially on declines, enhancing control and safety. Minor gripe, though: some might find the dashboard controls slightly out of reach, though nothing unmanageable. All in all, it’s a solid vehicle suited for demands of the road.

I recently drove the Scania R450 Highline, and I have to say, it delivers a solid experience. The 450 horsepower engine performs well, particularly under lighter loads. Maneuverability is excellent, largely due to its shorter wheelbase, although road irregularities can sometimes be noticeable. The interior is both functional and comfortable, with improved visibility and a collection of modern amenities, making it suitable for longer hauls.

Been driving the R450 for a while now, so here’s my take. The cab setup is super functional, especially all the storage. Cupholders everywhere, little pockets and drawers, and the pull-out fridge is a game changer for keeping food and drinks cold. The bed is really comfy, with those soft orthopedic mattresses and proper lighting around the place, makes a difference when you got to crash after a long haul. Driving it, I like the soft ride-seriously, it handles bumps way better than some of the other Euro trucks I’ve had.

Still, not everything’s perfect. The heated mirrors switch kinda bugs me, only stays on for 15 mins then goes off, so in heavy rain or messy weather it’s a pain to keep hitting it. Could be better. Same with the trim, it’s not the fanciest spec, so you’re missing some little extras here and there, but the basics are solid. The doors shut nice, nothing loose or rattling, feels put together well. I keep wishing for more charging outlets though, especially with all the gear I lug around. All in all, it’s a comfortable spot to spend long hours, but yeah, minor stuff could be tweaked.
